Chef

Executive Chef Chris Shiner began cooking professionally at age 16. He completed his apprenticeship at Mike Wiegele's World Class Heli-Ski Resort in Blue River, British Columbia, under Swiss Master Chef Toni Spori. From there he moved to Chateau Lake Louise's Edelweiss Dining Room for 3 years. Next, Shiner moved to Whistler where he was Chef at Market Catering for 5 years. Since moving to the Executive Chef position here at the Edgewater in May 2008, Shiner has continued to impress our guests.
