Uniquely situated on a peninsula jutting out into emerald-hued Green Lake, with stunning views to Armchair Glacier, Wedge Mountain and Whistler & Blackcomb Mountains, the Edgewater Lodge & Restaurant's natural setting offers a true Whistler experience. Hidden away on 42 acres of old growth forest, yet only 5-minutes to the bustling village of Whistler and the ski lifts, the Edgewater is the ideal combination of serenity and convenience for your holiday or event.
All of our rooms have bay windows with views of the lake and mountains beyond. Our Trumpeter Swan rooms feature a private balcony. The unique artwork and book collections in the rooms have been gathered by the Symons family and give the Edgewater its true lodge charm.
With unparalleled views in Whistler, the Edgewater is host to many weddings and group retreats. The lake and mountain views along with the lawns and gardens, filled with wildflowers in the summer, provide a spectacular backdrop for any event.
All year long the Edgewater provides easy access to all of the recreational activities the Whistler valley has to offer. In summer, the outdoor activity centre, located on our property, rents kayaks, canoes, and paddleboats to cruise around the lake. They also do fishing expeditions and horseback riding. For wildife enthusiasts, the Edgewater offers everything from birdwatching to bear watching! In winter, the Edgewater is only 5-minutes from the ski lifts for downhill skiing. Or, for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, you can set out straight from our property and join up with the valley trail network that runs throughout the entire valley.
Our glass and beam restaurant features the freshest seafood, meats and produce. Our Executive Chef Chris Shiner, is always impressing guests with his Pacific-Northwest inspired menu.
